One thing to remember in Revit is that Plan Views in your
model are associated to a level, and they are associated to this level forever.
The Views Associated Level Parameter is greyed out and cannot be changed.
This means that if you need to create a new Level or Plan
view of your model ensure you are aware of the Associated Level.
It is never a good Idea to copy up level markers to create a
new level as the new level will have the associated level of the original
copied level.
If you need to create a new level in your model, use the
appropriate Level tool located in the Architecture ribbon.
When you are using the Duplicate tool to create additional
plan views of your model, ensure you are using the correct original view to
begin with. Just because you rename it and adjust the View Range, it still may
not have the correct Associated Level.
